Overture

A little ballet, a lot of wonder, and a portrait you'll frame for years.

Every December my own kids ask when the Nutcracker is coming back. That feeling of a season you wait all year for is what this set is built around: an oversized blush bow, flocked trees glowing with warm light, and two nutcrackers keeping watch while your little one twirls.

These are short sessions, but they're still NKB sessions. Your child is styled, the pace follows them, and the images are made to last as prints, not just phone backgrounds. Babies who can sit on their own, big sisters and little brothers are all welcome.

A holiday story in four acts

Act I

Choose your time

Pick a slot that fits nap schedules. Your session fee holds the spot.

Act II

Choose the costume

You'll get a styling guide and a peek at the client closet so nothing is last minute.

Act III

The performance

Twenty unhurried minutes on the set, with time to twirl, play and warm up to the camera.

Act IV

The curtain call

Finished images arrive within 14 days, in time for cards and gifts.

Christmas portraits for South Florida families

The Sugar Plum Fairy sessions take place in Coral Springs, right next door to Parkland and a short drive from Boca Raton. Families from across Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties are welcome, whether you're planning this year's holiday card or starting a yearly Christmas portrait tradition.

Good to know before you book

What ages are these sessions for?

The set works best for babies who can sit up on their own, but best from age 2 through about age 12. Older siblings are welcome in the same slot.

Is this just for girls?

Not at all. The Nutcracker has a prince and a whole army of toy soldiers, and little brothers fit right in on this set.

What should my child wear?

Once you book you'll get a styling guide. Leotards and tulle in blush, ivory or soft pink look beautiful here. You can borrow from the NKB client closet or bring your own.

Can I be in the photos too?

These are children-only sessions. If you'd love a full family portrait this season, ask about a Signature Session.

What if my child isn't in the mood?

It happens, and it's fine. Sessions are play first. We'll take a break, hand over a wand, and let them warm up at their own speed.

Where are the sessions held?

At The Studio Room in Coral Springs. It's an easy drive from Parkland, Coconut Creek, Margate and Boca Raton, and families from West Palm Beach down to Miami are welcome.

Will the photos be ready for our Christmas cards?

Yes. Your gallery arrives within 2 weeks, which leaves plenty of time to design and order holiday cards before December.

Is Santa at these sessions?

Not this one. The Sugar Plum Fairy set is a Nutcracker ballet theme, so there's no Santa visit. If you want a classic Christmas portrait without the mall line, it's a beautiful alternative.

When will I get my photos?

Your online gallery arrives within 2 weeks. Print and keepsake orders are delivered before Dec 10th.
