As my children are growing, I’ve begun to see this budding personality from each of them. Both so unique it often reminds me that I have to tend to my relationship with each of them differently. Once thing that remains is that I want to remember them this little forever. As a photographer, I do that through my imagery and art.

Which is why I am introducing Heirloom Vignette Portraits for my clients.

These unique pieces of art you may have seen in your homes growing up, you may even still have some, you may even be in them! A portrait a year, maybe every two, maybe in a gallery wall, or lining your staircase, they are a reminder of your adolescent age and innocence. Why not give that same opportunity to your little one.

The Art
The feathered edges, the museum etched paper, the timeless color or better yet, black and white image and an modernly ornate frame really complete your art which will be treasured for years to come.

What is the process?
Using Studio lighting, which is different from my normal shooting style, we will create a beautiful portrait of your child.
They will be seated against a simple plain backdrop, and photographed from the elbows up.

A collared dress or top* helps to frame your child’s face and round out the vignette. A soft feathered vignette is then added as well as softening of features and color corrected skin tones to create those timeless portraits to adorn your walls, or…. around your neck— can you say locket!!

Investment
The shoot will require a sitting fee for each child.
For families with 3 or more children, a discount will be offered.
After the session you will choose your favorite portrait,
select a museum quality print size and frame style.
Lockets will be available as an add on - the perfect gift for mom or grandma!
