Minnewaska State Park Engagement Session | Alyssa + Jake

Alyssa and Jake’s Minnewaska State Park engagement session was what dreams are made of! Not only are these two hopelessly in love, but they were SO much fun to work with!

Minnewaska State Park has so many beautiful areas to explore. We decided on four key areas within the park: Sam’s Point, The Pathway, The Waterfall and The Lake. If you aren’t familiar with the area, it’s nestled on Lake Minnewaska, near Poughkeepsie and the borders of NY and PA. It’s seriously dreamy!

Sam’s Point is aptly named- the view is incredible! The pathway is a beautiful trail that allows you to explore the park. It’s shady, lush and green this time of year!

If I hadn’t told you that this waterfall was in NY, I’m pretty sure it could have passed for a hideaway in Colorado or a hidden gem in the Caribbean. It was a great spot for adventure photos and quite romantic!
