One of my favorite things about the Tiboris family beach session is how authentic it is. When it comes to family photos with young children, you can only “control” them so much. We let the kids be kids in this session, which resulted in photos that perfectly captured each of their unique personalities.

When preparing for a family beach session with young children, my top tip, aside from a great wardrobe (and a back-up option), is to RELAX!

Also, bring snacks, a few props (think stuffed animals, favorite toys, blanket, etc), and zero expectations.

Capturing Memories at Family Beach Session

When you’re raising small children, it can be a struggle to make time for yourself. It feels like you’re in constant chaos and the days pass in a blur. Years from now, you’ll know why “they” told you “it goes by so fast.” When we’re in the thick of it, the days are long! I know for me, this is a huge factor in my persistence that families book photo sessions regularly. It’s so easy to forget the facial expressions or crazy chaotic energy as our children age. Sometimes they grow out of the little quirks that were so them and without “picture proof” we’ll never be able to torture them with the memories in adulthood!
