Goryeb Family Session| NJ Newborn & Family Photographer |Bay Head, NJ
The Goryeb Family has become a legacy client (meaning I’ve worked with them multiple times) - this session was fantastic because not only did I get to photograph their adorable family of three, but their parents and siblings joined us later in the day. I was obsessing over the absolutely perfect sunset glow that we got at the beach during this family session! So beautiful, right?!
Little Lucy has the most beautiful dark hair! I can never decide which is cuter- babies with full heads of hair or bald babies. Either way, it is one of Lucy’s signature features that she definitely gets from Mom AND Dad! Her little fuzzy full-body suit was precious too- keeping her warm and comfy!
Grandma and Grandpa just aglow holding their first grandchild. Of course, an outfit change was in order for baby girl and the little denim jacket just slayed me. Adorable doesn’t even cover it. Prior to the session, I assisted the Goryeb family with their wardrobe choices and they were able to easily transition from their photo of three to their photo of eight. We kept the color palette relatively neutral, but played off of the beachy tones too. The mamas rocked their white & cream.
With a family of boys (now Uncles), baby girl is going to be well protected and she’s already dotted on!
After we wrapped up our time at the beach, we headed home for a few shots. Lucy was wide awake and incredibly alert- I especially love these photos of her expressions!
I also photographed Lucy’s newborn session via Zoom when Covid was at its peak. The zoom call was directed using me on zoom on an iPhone and then using a separate iPhone to direct and capture the images. Once the session was complete, they sent the images my way and I edited them in Lightroom as I would for any other newborn session. It was such a unique experience but turned out beautifully and in the comfort of everyone’s personal spaces.. You can check that out here.
