Reasons to Book a Newborn Session
The baby stage is so fleeting. We hear it time and time again as soon as people hear that we have a newborn or small child at home, “Soak it up, they grow so fast!” “Enjoy this stage, it goes by in the blink of an eye!” Or some other similar sentiment. Once we leave the hospital with this precious new life, it’s all a blur.
The sleepless nights, endless feeding cycles, visitors, rollercoaster of hormones… it all feels like it’s moving in slow motion until it isn’t. The time passes in a flash and you find yourself with a growing baby and you’re already missing those first few days of newborn bliss. This mystery of time is one of the main reasons why you need to book a newborn session. I don’t want to come off preachy, but it’s can sometimes be hard to put emphasis on something so very important without using a bit of my “mom voice.” As a Boca Raton newborn photographer, I see firsthand how much joy newborn photos bring to families because they capture fleeting moments in time, so here are the reasons to book a newborn session!
Capture Moments in Time
The human memory is funny. We often forget the nuances, and instead remember in broad strokes. We don’t remember the delicate details - just how tiny our newborn’s toes were, or the little sideways smirk they had while they were dreaming, or just how much hair they had during that first month. There are so many tiny little things about this tiny little person that are going to change in the days ahead. A newborn session freezes these moments in time, a priceless memory of precious days that shape your entire future.
Mama, I know the early days are hard. Heck, they’re ALL hard for their own reasons. I know that you might not feel rested, or beautiful, or up to having anyone in the house. But you won’t regret making this memory permanent. When this sweet baby of yours is running through the halls, heading to kindergarten, playing in their first sports game… a glance at your newborn session will bring it all rushing back and remind you to be here, really here, right now.
