Levitus Generational Shoot

There is no greater heirloom or family keepsake than a photo of your family. Generational shoots are incredibly touching and I wish everyone would do them!

If there was ever a time to appreciate that life everyday moment are fleeting, it’s now. The people who have shaped us into the daughters, sons, sisters, brothers, parents we are today - they deserve to be cherished and remembered.

Ari’s parent's live in Minnesota, so when they made the trip to NJ, she wanted to be sure to capture these precious moments with her children/their grandchildren. As a close friend and neighbor of Ari’s, I am familiar with some of the health struggles that can arise as our parents get older, making this shoot all the more powerful for me.

My own family relationship & dynamic with my grandma (and dearly departed pop pop) is so important to me. My grandmother represents strength, resolve and a powerful family history that I treasure. I can’t imagine not being able to pull up photos of days past and reminiscing about special family moments.

The reason I do what I do is to capture people in a way they want to be remembered by the people they love and that love them.
