Invest in Your Future with Prints
It wasn't that long ago that I was sitting with my grandma, we were talking about the days when my family would sit on the patio, the warm sun would be beating down, and the bay windows of the house would be wide open to let the cool breeze through on an early summer day. My grandfather would be tending to his garden, my grandma would be making us a delicious lunch and my brother and I would be enjoying our summer reading for school right there on the patio. Since then, everything has changed…
The waters rushed in on October 29th, Hurricane Sandy took everything. The house, the furniture, the clothes, but it did not take the memories… neither in our minds or in print. As they hung on the walls, waters rising - 5 ft, 6 ft, our smiling faces just watched as the ground below disappeared and waves rushed in… but the framed images of our family remained. What was left of my late grandfather remained, of those memories in that house, of our family as a whole… they remained intact and preserved.
Today these images are in the new house which was built for my grandma, on the same land… the house may look different, the memories are new and different, but the images… they have been preserved forever.
I truly believe that photos on the wall help to make a house a home-- so even though we lost the original bones the foundation remained. As we live in the moment, a photograph allows us to reflect and remember it just as it was.
This is why I am so passionate about preserving your memories!
I want you to be able to enjoy your images day in and day out… not just with your family, but with anyone to whom you open your home to. I want them to feel the moments that mean so much to you …
Your goal for your session shouldn't be to just have images to share on your social media, they mean more to you than that… TRUST ME! So, this is why I will continue to talk about why it's important to print, frame and create beautiful albums from your images to enjoy year after year! I am so passionate about capturing the stages and moments in a family’s legacy.
