The Lunn Family’s Milestone Collection with Family Photographer in Miami
As a family photographer in Miami, one of my favorite things I offer is my signature milestone collection. This is a collection of three sessions over a 15-month period where we follow your growing family from pregnancy through the newborn days and on to your child’s first birthday. The Lunn family invested in a milestone session with me when they were pregnant with their first baby and we just did Ari’s first birthday session. Time flies! I loved getting to see their family grow and am excited to share their journey with you!
Maternity Session
We did a beautiful at home session for Jamie and Katie’s maternity session. As a family photographer in Miami, I love doing maternity sessions because it’s a time when I get to build a relationship with the couple and share in the excitement and joy of their pregnancy. As part of the full service milestone collection, makeup is included so that you look and feel your absolute best. Hair can also be added on so that you get the full glam experience. Having your hair and makeup done also provides consistency across the milestone sessions so that your heirlooms are cohesive.
Newborn Session
For the Lunn’s newborn session, we photographed sweet baby Ari at home. Katie chose neutral colors for their wardrobe which provided color consistency across the three sessions. We also took photos in rooms that had shades of blues and greens throughout the first two sessions to keep the look consistent. Ari was wide awake for most of the session, so we got some great shots of his beautiful eyes!
First Birthday Session
Since I am a family photographer in Miami, we did Ari’s first birthday session on the beach. I had so much fun catching up with the Lunns after a year and I loved getting to see how much Ari has grown up. I enjoy doing the milestone collection because I get to be a part of a family’s life during some of the most exciting times - I sometimes even get invited to capture the first birthday party!
I also love that clients can invest in albums and build them gradually over the year. If clients enjoy frames more, they can create a gallery wall over the time period too. Or they can do both! Many clients are typically able to spread their investment over the course of a year and can effectively invest in heirloom pieces.
